ASSISTANT COACH

Ernie has been in and around the game of basketball most of his life.  Ernie was the leading scorer and best defensive player on his high school basketball team in Long Branch, New Jersey about an hour south of New York City.  During his senior year, Ernie averaged 16 points per game and led his team to a final four finish in the state basketball tournament.

Following high school, Ernie attended Monmouth University, also in New Jersey, became a four year starter on the men’s basketball team and accomplished the following during his collegiate career.

Ø  Team Most Valuable Player freshman year.

Ø  Twice named to the college division all-Jersey team.

Ø  Scored over 1,000 points during career

Ernie has stayed connected to the game by teaching it’s fundamentals to children as a volunteer basketball coach for the YMCA.
